What Is Invisalign?

Invisalign consists of clear plastic trays that apply gentle pressure to shift your teeth into their desired positions. The clear aligners are made of a body-safe smooth plastic that is removable and practically invisible. Invisalign is often used to correct crooked teeth, crowded teeth, gaps in your teeth, overbites, and underbites. It can also be used to straighten teeth that have relapsed after traditional braces.

The clear aligners must be worn for approximately 22 hours each day, and each set of trays is typically worn for two weeks before you graduate to the next set of trays. Once you have completed your Invisalign journey, you will receive a Vivera® retainer to maintain your newly straightened smile.

If I've had braces, can I still get Invisalign?

Your clear trays are easy to care for. You will simply brush and rinse them in lukewarm water with Invisalign Cleaning Crystals. It is also important to brush your teeth after eating so food particles don't stain the clear aligners or become trapped between your teeth and the trays.
